Description
Allison Waggener has been teaching for Carnegie Prep since 2010, preparing students for all sections of the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. A native of Newton, Massachusetts, she graduated from Yale with a double major in American Studies and Theater Studies. In addition to working at CP, she’s a professional classical singer. During the pandemic she founded Bridgeport Mutual Aid, which has delivered hundreds of tons of food and built vegetable gardens at people’s homes. She and her partner live with their baby daughter in a historic fixer-upper Victorian in Bridgeport. As a teacher, she particularly enjoys helping students find their voice and the unique lessons of their experiences in their college application essays. Her varied interests, from outdoor survival school to yoga to intensive dance training, help her connect with a wide variety of students to help them achieve their best.

Course Description
The SAT Course is eight sessions and provides a complete overview of the content, skills, and strategies required for success on the digital adaptive SAT. The course includes two timed, proctored digital practice SATs and optional extra help sessions.
