Josh grew up in Hamden, CT and graduated from Wesleyan University with a B.S. in Biology. Upon graduation, he worked for a year as a research assistant at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston before embarking on his teaching career. Josh has been teaching for 27 years and has taught at a variety of schools (both public and private). Before moving back to Connecticut, he taught biology at Punahou School in Honolulu and worked to get an MS in Zoology from the University of Hawaii during his free time. Josh currently teaches AP Biology, AP Environmental Science and Culinary Science at Greenwich Academy. During his 19 years at GA, he has taught a variety of courses in the science department including Freshman Biology, Chemistry, Animal Behavior and Conservation Biology. Josh has a wealth of experience working with students of all ages/abilities and prides himself in my ability to establish meaningful relationships with his students.
