Reva Slone is a National Board Certified teacher in Adult and Young Adolescent Mathematics. She holds a Master of Arts degree in K-12 School Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education. Reva has served as a College Board Reader for AP Statistics for many years. She served as an Early Table Leader for the Inaugural AP Precalculus Reading in 2024 and will fill the same role at the reading this year.
Reva has been teaching and tutoring middle and high school students for 27 years. Her passion is to engage, empower and equip students to achieve their personal best both in the classroom and on national exams. To achieve this goal, she helps students pinpoint their weaknesses and build the confidence and skills needed to thrive in their chosen endeavors.

AP Precalculus 2025 Course
Course Description
This four-week course will review the major content of the AP Precalculus exam (Polynomial and Rational Functions, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Trigonometric and Polar Functions). Significant time will be spent on the AP Exam style free response questions, as well as multiple choice items. Emphasis will be placed on the different types of questions and analysis of the scoring guidelines to understand how to construct a high-scoring response. The goal of the course is for students to solidify their understanding of precalculus, become comfortable with the AP Exam style questions and gain confidence in their ability to maximize their performance.
