Originally from the Finger Lakes Region in Upstate New York, Steve earned a BA in Early Childhood Education from Alfred University. Soon after, he and his wife decided to continue their education at Arizona State University, where he completed a Masters program in Physical Education. While in Arizona, Steve worked as a graduate assistant teaching classes as well as supervising student teachers. He also volunteered at a local Boys and Girls Club working with youth in the Phoenix metro area.
Since then he has taught and coached in a variety of settings, from the rural areas of the East Valley in Arizona to the inner city of upper Manhattan. More recently, Steve was hired by Greenwich Country Day School in 2012 to the Physical Education department where he teaches across all grades and enjoys coaching football, basketball and golf in the Upper School.
Steve and his wife Katie live in Greenwich with their three young children, Patrick, Morgan, and Christian.
